Joe Langenderfer

About Joe Langenderfer

Joe has worked as a development and foundation administrator for 43 years and currently advocates tax-advantaged giving for a national Native American non-profit. Most of his career has been in the service of Catholic organizations in Ohio, Kentucky, Louisiana, Illinois and North Carolina. Joe has generated nearly $100 million through annual funds, major gift and legacy gifts and capital campaigns throughout his career. He has been a speaker at national and international development conferences, and has written and copyrighted numerous publications. He achieved his Certified Fund Raising Executive designation 2016. Current memberships include the USA Leadership Council for Tepeyac Leadership Initiative, Association of Fundraising Professionals-Triangle Chapter, Wake County Estate Planning Council, and Board Treasurer of the North Carolina Planned Giving Council. He was a Board Member of the National Catholic Development Conference, and the founding President of the New Orleans chapter of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners. He was named Ambassador of the year in 2012 by the Joliet Chamber of Commerce. Joe and his wife, Cathy live in Raleigh and are proud of their 11 children/step-children and two grandchildren.

Since 2021 with the support of a dedicated team, I have-Recorded over $8.8 million in realized planned gifts and $7 million in planned gift expectancies-Generated New legacy gifts of $4.5 million including a single gift $2.5 million-Produced giving collateral including informational brochures on Qualified Charitable Distributions, Wills, and Life Income gifts-Created Planned Gift Protocol and other In-Take policies.
