Leading a team of nine service designers in the complex area of digital screening, co-running the wider UCD team of ~42 perm and contract professionals and creating strategy to drive our work forward. This includes prioritising workload and ensuring the right people are there to meet that need* Responsible for creating the processes and standards that enable our best work, liaising with SLT to inform strategy, and working closely with other profession leads* Produce artefacts to communicate the wider screening journey, such as blueprints and strategies* Creating service patterns for screening and beyond* Work with the wider NHS design community on various initiatives to ensure we have joined up programmes across the NHS* Line manage five design professionals (service, interaction, and content)* Lead and support recruitment of permanent and contract staff* Trained service assessor, helping to ensure screening is meeting the service standard. Sitting on assessment panels for other services

I am a user experience expert with 17+ years experience. I have covered a number of roles in research, service design, and UX more generally - currently leading design in screening within the NHS. I have a particular interest in Lean UX, personal growth, and strategy. I like to work in great teams, delivering value and helping to move organisations forward.
