ABOUT JOE KLARMAN

I joined Russell Jones Real Estate (RJRE) in 2001. I became the Designated Broker in 2008, following in the steps of founder Russell Jones and his son Allan Jones. After being a top producer in my firm for several years, I earned partnership, and it was decided by the four partners, with over 100 years of combined experience, that I was the right choice to take leadership in this collaborative family based business. I graduated from San Diego State University where he studied business and received his teaching credentials. My experience in teaching has helped me to educate clients in real estate and homeownership. I work with both buyers and sellers and has negotiated developable properties for some of Seattle’s most well known single family, townhome and multi-family home developers and builders. I have also developed several townhomes and single family homes in Seattle and was the principal of a small Seattle-based development company. This aided me in becoming highly skilled on zoning and property development potential. When I am not in the office and working with clients, I have served as a board member at Hillel UW, and along with my wife, volunteer with the Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and hard of hearing communities in which we are co-founding members of a resource library celebrating culture through books and media. I consider myself an ally of the LGBTQ community and along with my firm am active in the Pride Festival every year. My passion is facilitating new relationships and believes in a unique cooperative team model among my clients, partners, and associates.
