About Joe Howard
It took me more than 15 years to learn my passion, but something unexpected has happened since then. I grew up in a family business. I watched my parents struggle with balancing business needs, family needs, and personal needs, with their individual needs usually coming in last-place. Early in my career, I thought technical expertise would be the answer to getting balance. I attended every seminar and asked many questions of my peers. I then realized this just made the business need me more. I then began the journey of professional development. I started soft skill training. I quickly learned those skills were much more challenging to learn and master than the technical skills. Through this journey, I knew that helping people grow and learn was my passion. I could do that by asking great questions and having a vision for what was coming next. I am fortunate to bring some of the technical and business skills learned over my career to Memphis. I look forward to helping the great people at Good Fruit Electric grow to produce good fruit.
