ABOUT JOE HASSELL
I have been an operational Firefighter and Officer for over 30 years and have a wealth of experience in crisis management leading fire and rescue activities in many highly complex, dynamic emergency incidents. In tandem with these skills, I am passionate about transformation, culture change and leading teams to achieve a common goal. In particular I am at my best managing people and teams, developing strategies, influencing change and presenting and speaking at events.Having been an experienced trainer and assessor teaching fire service officers how to manager and lead dynamic and complex incidents, following my retirement I am now working as an Incident Command and Leadership consultant. I am the Company Owner of Joe Hassell Command, delivering virtual Fire Strategic Commander Simulations for busy senior managers can practice and log command hours. When I can, I am also working as an associate L&D Consultant for Innovation Central.
