As a fourth year mechanical engineering student at Michigan State University, I am passionate about combining my academic excellence with my practical experience to generate a positive impact. Throughout my academic journey, I have consistently pursued academic distinction while committing to understanding the fundamental and advanced concepts in each course. My journey has been characterized by both a passionate pursuit of knowledge and an inherent desire to lead and serve in my community. In my current role at Altair, I worked hard to contribute to an account plan for my mentor’s key account by conducting extensive business analysis and market research, taking advantage of sources like SEC filings, press releases, and peer reviewed academic journals to inform my work. I also constructed a series of presentations and resources for the convenience of the account team and effectively helped to significantly increase account projected revenue year over year. Moreover, as the Mechanical Engineering Representative for Pi Tau Sigma, the International Honor Society for Mechanical Engineers, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with a dedicated and committed board to promote leadership, excellence, and service, cultivating a culture anchored in principled values. As I continue to grow academically and professionally, I am motivated to combine my foundational engineering mindset and my business acumen with my commitment to serving my community. I aspire to lead with a compelling vision, encourage excellence, and build trust-based relationships that will last a lifetime. I strive to be a catalyst for good, fostering a sense of empathy and collaboration in the communities I’m part of, and ultimately, I hope to leave a long-lasting, positive impact on the world.
