MED1 builds companies based on breakthrough technology in the medical device, biotech, and consumer health sectors and works with leaders in their respective fields to rapidly bring innovative products to market. As EIR at MED1, I launch early-stage ventures by evaluating promising technologies, understanding their market opportunity, and creating the business case for a company capable of generating attractive returns for private investors-The first of these ventures morphed into what is now EternaTear, an Angel/Venture-backed pharmaceutical startup focused on the OTC Dry Eye market-I am also the founder of AntiXero, a pre-clinical Cancer side effect management company. I formed a management team with advisors, and submitted NIH phI grant applications
