I am an Environmental & Permitting Manager at RWE Americas where I lead environmental strategy and permitting for utility-scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage (BESS) projects across the Central region. I support development teams in navigating complex wildlife and natural resource issues during planning and permitting and serve as a subject matter expert on NEPA, the Endangered Species Act, and Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act (BGEPA) compliance.Previously, I managed environmental governance for RWEA’s operating fleet and projects in execution, contributing to the development of the company’s ISO-14001 Environmental Management System. I authored key policies and training programs, including frameworks for bat and avian risk management, SPCC, vegetation management, and Tier II/EPCRA reporting.I have a strong background in environmental due diligence, having completed reviews for over SBA-related agricultural and commercial real estate transactions, as well as numerous federally funded projects undergoing NEPA analysis. My experience includes authoring NEPA Environmental Assessments and Environmental Reports for Categorical Exclusions.I am also skilled in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), with peer-reviewed research published on UAS-acquired imagery for 3D photogrammetry applications. My GIS expertise includes Python scripting, remote sensing, spatial modeling, geostatistical analysis, geoprocessing, mapping, and automation.
