ABOUT JOE DAINTY
After spending many years working for QBE as an underwriter then transitioning to operations, I joined Lloyd\'s to work on setting up Global Operations and work on Market Modernisation initiatives. I moved to DXC / Joint Venture to lead the business design of the new central services, feeling the changes required needed to be driven from there. I then moved to focus on the JV position to work with engagement of Lloyd\'s and the wider market communities to adopt the plan for new central services. Once this adoption of the new plan was achieved via the Joint Solution Plan, I felt my primary aims had been achieved and I rejoined Lloyds to co-lead the Joint Engagement team to engage with carrier, broker and vendor communities- giving them clear points of contact and helping them understand the solutions and get ready to adopt them. I am currently on a \'sabbatical\' to deal with some pesky pancreatic cancer, however prognosis is currently positive and hoping to rejoin Lloyd\'s in the not too distant future.
