Engages and partners with water districts, Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSAs) and their technical consultants to develop and plan recharge and incentives programs in support of their Groundwater Sustainability Plans (GSPs). Partner with program staff and directors to advise local, state and federal agencies, corporations, and industry about recharge related programs, incentives, and budgets. Engage with local communities, environmental justice and conservation Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and federal, state and local agencies to facilitate dialogue to ensure groundwater recharge programs are locally understood and shaped by local needs and concerns. Facilitate and present at water sustainability conferences, webinars, and workshops. Develop guidance and program support materials regarding multibenefit recharge and incentive programs. Collaborate on Groundwater Recharge Assessment Tool (GRAT®) projects to compile and represent complex water conveyance systems and operational rules within project design and coding. Direct and manage projects through collaborative partnerships with other team members to effectively use team skills and ensure parallel project development needs are coordinated. Provide guidance, support, and feedback to project team colleagues on their projects in a timely manner. Facilitate discussions with team members and others about water management challenges and opportunities that could affect program strategies and activities. Participate in strategic planning, including ongoing organizational commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
