Support the implementation of HR policies and processes, benefits programs, and other HR functions- Support recruiting and onboarding activities including but not limited to reviewing job descriptions, managing job postings, interview scheduling, working in applicant tracking systems, new hire documentation, processing of I-9 verifications, and joining announcements- Maintain employee personnel files in conjunction with Federal/State law and take ownership of timely filing of employee paperwork- Administer benefits for new hires and existing employees, including group health 401(k), disability, life insurance, worker\'s compensation, and annual open enrollment- Assist with payroll related tasks and inquiries- Support the annual reward and recognition nomination process- HRIS support - Work in various systems and manage employee changes related to employee\'s life-cycle- Leave of absence administration across multiple states including FMLA and STD leave requests- Provide knowledgeable and timely responses to employee questions on benefits and general HR items- Prepare employee notices and letters- Prepare employment verification letters to employees, DOL correspondence, and respond to employment verifications as needed- Process invoices and tuition reimbursement- Prepare standard and other ad hoc reports to provide data for a variety of internal reporting requirements and HR projects and activities- Prepare and present training slides- Back-up HR department for Manager, Human Resources and administer first line HR support- Ad-hoc and special projects as needed
