I have more than 25 years of project controls and management experience in engineering, procurement and construction projects encompassing power, process, transmission / distribution, and industrial facilities both in field and office environments with emphasis on EPC project work. I am the functional manager of the project controls department for the Houston Regional Office of Burns & McDonnell, which serves major multi-million dollar EPC oil, gas & chemical, transmission & distribution, terminals & facilities, and environmental projects from initial FEL stages through start-up & commissioning. As the functional manager I am directly responsible for hiring of department personnel, training of staff, coordination & deployment of staff, management and oversight of estimating, planning & scheduling, cost forecasting & reporting, performance measurement (EVM), risk analysis, change management, financial reporting and project accounting.
