ABOUT JOE CALDWELL
While attending the University of Utah I worked in the Ecology Conservation Lab under the direction of Dr. Cagan Sekercioglu and PhD Candidate Austin Green. I managed the design and implementation of the Wasatch Wildlife Watch Project in the Bear River Range of Utah. The Wasatch Wildlife Watch uses camera traps as a non-invasive approach to document anthropogenic stress along the urban-wildlife interface of the Wasatch Mountain Range. The project specifically aimed to document how anthropogenic stress effects predator and prey relationships, environmental factors, spatial ecology, phenology, habitat fragmentation, and species richness. After graduating college I joined a Civil Engineering firm managing environmental compliance and have been loving every minute of it!
