Operations Executive with 30+ years’ experience in Medical, Industrial and Retail Construction Management. In 2024, Joe made a career change into the Healthcare sector, specifically Senior Living and Memory Care.Healthcare Management Experience- He works for Dial Senior Living as an Executive Director for their Valley NE community. Responsibilities include the overall operations of the community, including strategic planning, P&L reporting, and oversight in nursing, facilities maintenance, dining, and activities. Responsibilities also include partnering with sales/marketing to support the community.Medical Construction Management Experience- He worked as the VP of Expansion & Facilities and the VP of Construction. Accomplishments include leading an Expansion/Construction team that successfully opened over 250 clinics over a 3 year span.Industrial Cold Storage Construction Management Experience- He worked on the contracting side of the business for O’Connor Construction Group as Vice President of Business Development for 2 years- Prior to that, he worked on the end-user/owner side of the business for 18 years, serving as the Director of Engineering for Lineage Logistics, and as the Vice President of Construction & Engineering for Millard Refrigerated Services. Accomplishments included managing the construction activities of over 3 million square feet of new construction.Retail Construction Management Experience- He worked as a Senior Project Manager for both Lids and DXL Group (J. Baker, Inc./Casual Male Retail Group). Accomplishments included managing the construction activities of over 300 new store openings.He has an Associate’s Degree in Architecture and Design from New England Institute of Technology, with continuing education courses in Construction Management, Ammonia Refrigeration, and Regulatory Compliance.
