ABOUT JOE BOWMAN
I am a (recovering) accounting and finance leader who, after ten years of auditing and the corporate finance world, ditched GAAP seminars, CPA CPE, spreadsheets, month-end close, and annual budget cycles for the world of BD. I told my former boss that I was tired of reporting the news and wanted to be involved in making it, rather. It gives me energy to work for the leading pharmaceutical 3PL in the industry and to work hand in hand with manufacturer partners ranging from emerging biotech to large pharma to optimize their desired commercial go-to-market strategies. Our goal as healthcare’s most trusted partner is simple: get products where they need to go, on time, every time. I have had the pleasure of bringing on dozens of manufacturer partners that have launched hundreds of products in collaboration with our incredible Cardinal Health 3PL team. This ranges from ultra-rare/orphan products, to cell and gene therapies, to broad based indications nearing blockbuster revenues. The best part of my job is hearing the impact to patients made possible because of the work we support as a critical link in the supply chain and back-office functionality.
