ABOUT JOE BILAN
Chartered Engineer with 7 years experience, currently working as a Drainage Engineer at Arcadis. Previously, I have been heavily involved in projects within various water and drainage projects in highway, development and rail. Through this, I have gained a lot of knowledge and first hand experience. Coming from a family of engineering background. I have always had passion for engineering and wish to progress through this position as high as possible. I previously worked within the drainage and networks team in Atkins being involved within the design and modelling of drainage and SUDS systems in Cambridge North Station, A9 Dualling, Invergarven Nursery, etc. Prior to Atkins, I have been heavily involved with structural inspections across Scotland. In addition, I have assisted in the Garrowhill Surface Water Management Plan and delivered a Flood Risk Management level 1 and 2 for the Knockroon Development project in Ayrshire. I also Co-Own LEBCO LTD and Byblos Cafe which is a family business and the only homemade Lebanese restaurant in Glasgow. In my free time, I manage a small non-profitable charity organisation which collects money and delivers to various known charities on monthly basis such as Cancer Research UK, SCIAF, Macmillan Cancer Research. I also coach the u16\'s Glasgow Rens Men National League team. I hold a full UK Driving License, as well as a British passport. I am a First Aider. In addition, recently obtained a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card and completed a course in \"Working Safely\" with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health
