ABOUT JOE BELTRAN

With many years of experience in safety and environmental management, I am a passionate and proactive leader who strives to create a culture of excellence and compliance in the maritime industry. As the Safety Manager at Colonna\'s Shipyard, I oversee all aspects of safety and health programs.In my previous roles, I successfully implemented and maintained environmental management systems, trained and supervised staff, liaised with regulatory agencies, and conducted incident investigations.I have a proven record of reducing workplace injuries, ensuring regulatory compliance, and earning multiple safety awards and recognitions. I hold several OSHA certifications, as well as a certificate in Occupational Safety and Health from UC San Diego Extension. I am also fluent in English and Spanish.My goal is to leverage my skills and expertise to make a positive impact on the safety and health performance of Colonna\'s Shipyard, Inc.At the end of the day I take pride in what I do ensuring my coworkers go home safe and sound to their families and loved ones.
