Responsibilities include planning, coordinating and directing the fund-raising, alumni and university relations activities of the University, along with supervising the offices of Photographic Services, Publications and Graphics, and the Print Shop. Other responsibilities include developing and coordinating the University\'s federal and state legislative efforts on behalf of our academic, administrative and intercollegiate units, as well as providing campus-wide leadership for enhancing the image and profile of the University.Reorganized the Advancement Program to increase efficiency and productivity. This included the establishment of the Advancement Services unit to provide central coordination for all record keeping and data management functions, and assure compliance with new federal regulations on data management and integrityEstablished the institution\'s first marketing office to coordinate, manage and produce the majority of marketing materials. Included in the inaugural effort was the development of the Tennessee\'s Best and I\'m One campaigns, which have significantly raised awareness for the university\'s many programs.
