Prepares syllabi and creates and organizes active learning course materials Office 365, Kahoot, JamBoard, etc). E.g. During the 20••••21 AY created syllabi, video lectures, discussion posts and authentic assessments for 9 sections of EVR1001, Introduction to Environmental Science, using Canvas LMS to set up and organize course deliverables.Teach environmental science courses utilizing Blackboard and Canvas for on-ground, on-line, and hybrid course delivery. E.g. Between 2014 and 2021 taught 60+ sections of EVR1001 using active learning techniques (on-ground and hybrid) and transitioned to fully online modality in Summer 2021 owing to COVID-19.Prepare and grade exams, discussion posts, projects and assessments (formative and summative) for EVR1001 with timely turnaround and posting of grades. E.g. In Spring Semester 2021, graded weekly discussion posts and assignments for ~120 students with an average turn-around time of 3 days. Prepared midterm grade reports with individual notes and assistance to students.Regularly monitor student performance and alert students to missing assignments. E.g. In Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 courses used Canvas to identify missing assignments and engaged 30+ individual students to encourage them to submit work or correct unsuccessful submissions.
