He specializes in providing Fair Market Valuation (FMV) opinions and client advisory services for unique and complex compensation transactions to ensure Stark, Anti-Kickback, and/or IRS compliance for various clients including healthcare systems, hospitals, law firms, and private equity firms. With considerable valuation experience, Joe has personally completed thousands of valuation engagements in the healthcare industry, and brings unique expertise in both clinical and financial disciplines to client engagements. The defining characteristic of Joe’s approach is concrete, technical expertise combined with clinical insight as a provider that is invaluable to his ability to sift through complex data and formulate reliable Fair Market Valuation opinions with accuracy. That unusual skill set is grounded in an engineering degree, three master’s degrees, a nursing degree and hands-on experience as a Board-Certified nurse practitioner.
