About Jody Shulnak

An academic internship organizing community recreation programs and teaching pre-school in rural South Africa was the transformative experience that challenged and inspired me to pursue a career in international education. 20+ years later, I\'m a seasoned International Education professional with a demonstrated history in international student services, global service-learning and study abroad program management. I have lived, worked, volunteered, studied, interned and traveled in over 55 countries spanning six continents. I was awarded a prestigious Fulbright International Education Administrators (IEA) Seminar grant to Taiwan in 2019 to learn more about the education system with a focus on study abroad and exchange. The Fulbright grant allowed me to explore institutional partnerships, enhance campus internationalization efforts and increase opportunities and support for students and faculty. Engaging in cooperative cultural exchange and dialogue was a highlight of my Fulbright experience!Skills: Program development, international student recruitment, marketing & outreach, international partnerships, strategic planning, study abroad program design, implementation + assessment, ESL instruction, conflict resolution and risk management.
