About Jody Danneman

Jody began his broadcast television career in high school by pioneering coverage of Atlanta high school sports, which are now a fixture on multiple cable outlets. During Jody’s tenure at the University of Georgia, Jody was tapped to direct “Newspaper Advertising Sales” – the first live broadcast from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication studios. He was later chosen as the first technical director for \"University News\"- a nationally syndicated show produced entirely by students and the college\'s first daily news broadcast. Following graduation, Jody began his professional career at Atlanta Video Production Center, where he served as a videographer, director of photography, sound technician, on-line editor, lighting director, and technical director. He rose through the ranks to become AVPC’s senior producer/director. In 1997, Jody founded Atlanta ImageArts - a creative boutique firm that for over 20 years is the “go to” concept-to-completion, full-service media creator that specializes in broadcast television, corporate television, and live events by offering turnkey solutions for today’s multi-channel communications challenges. Jody volunteers for a variety of non-profit organizations. He is the immediate past chair of the University of Georgia Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication’s Board of Trust, the college’s professional advisory board. He volunteers for Presbyterian Homes of Georgia and assists with their efforts to raise monies to support the Caring Hands Fund, which benefits elderly residents whose retirement funds have been exhausted. Jody is a former International President for Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, having served on their board of directors for 14 years, and now mentors undergraduate members at Kennesaw State and the University of Georgia. He has been recognized for his professional work with multiple EMMY nominations and received numerous Telly and Communicator Awards for his corporate projects.
