ABOUT JODY VASSALLO

Empowering Change | Coaching | Adult Education | Addiction & Mental Health Counselling | Peer Support Training With a passion for transformation and lifelong learning, I bring a dynamic blend of coaching, counselling, and adult education expertise to my work. For over seven years, I have worked in the addiction field in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside (DTES)—a community well known for its high prevalence of homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges. This experience has deepened my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of accessible, person-centred support. As a certified Addiction Counsellor and trained Solution-Focused Coach, I have supported individuals on their recovery journeys, facilitated meaningful learning experiences, and developed training programs for Peer Support Workers. My work in adult education enables me to design and deliver impactful learning experiences that honour diverse needs and lived experiences. As the founder and director of the non-profit Life Quest Society, I aim to bridge coaching, education, and peer support to create sustainable change. Whether guiding individuals through personal growth, training peer support professionals, or consulting on program development, I am committed to fostering environments where people can thrive.
