ABOUT JO BROOMFIELD

Employees are a company\'s most important asset and a strong culture is what separates a great company from an average one. I specialise in devising strategies that inform, motivate and inspire employees, helping both to push the company\'s goals forward, and help that all-important culture to flourish.My career in communications spans more than a decade and I\'ve gathered plenty of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, organisational change management, marketing, corporate communications, website and intranet design, social media and digital and traditional content creation. Currently leading employee communications for the technology and operations arm of a FTSE 100 company, I draw on this wide mix of skills to devise innovative communications strategies, successfully manage complex business change programmes, and promote the team\'s work throughout the company. I believe that a deep understanding of a business, great teamwork, and a willingness to take risks are the fundamental elements of successful employee engagement, and I try to live all of these in the roles I take on.Outside of work, you can usually find me roaming the streets of London with my camera in hand or hitting the Surrey hills on my bike.
