   Serve as an ambassador, thought partner, and hands-on content creator; advancing the mission and goals of Nevada HAND through effective communications strategies.> Lead communications strategy, including the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of activities to support the strategic direction and positioning of the organization.> Lead all internal and external communications needs of the organization.> Increase the organization\'s visibility with the media and the public to drive positive awareness and donor support.> Work collaboratively to support fundraising, marketing, and leadership communication.> Provide consistent communications to diverse audiences, including (but not limited to) service provider partners, donors, elected officials, volunteers (including NHI’s Board of Directors and advisory groups), employees, and residents.> Partner with all departments to support mission in action and develop clear, correct, useful, and strategic communication.Year One Major Projects:> Nevada HAND\'s first-ever fundraising special event, which engaged new community members and raised significantly more than goal: full ownership of all event communications and hands-on management of all aspects of event design and execution, in close partnership with the Fundraising department and full Corporate Affairs team.> 30th Anniversary celebration: developing and implementing plans to celebrate Nevada HAND\'s 30th year, including 30th Anniversary collateral and a series of interviews and stories designed to highlight mission, expertise, experience, and impact.>Emerging Leaders Board, a new education and ambassadorship initiative engaging leaders from diverse industries in the Las Vegas Valley: significant planning, communication, and implementation support. Presented at multiple meetings and engaged regularly with members.> Audit and revision of external website in progress.
