About Jodie Gillon
I am incredibly passionate about helping others to be successful, and this theme has carried throughout my entire professional life. I began my career managing nonprofits and found that I not only enjoyed opportunities to lead, but also to help others find their voice as leaders. As a result of a layoff in 2008, I transitioned to administrative work, where I have been able to utilize my relationship building, organizational and project management skills to effectively support my teams, in addition to implementing process improvements and creating new tools to meet their needs. In my current role, I serve as a valued and reliable resource to my team and manager while overseeing multiple projects and meetings, ensuring everyone is aligned and on track and actions are completed in a timely manner. I am extremely proud of the work I do and feel honored to have been awarded two Impact Awards for my project management work at Teleflex. It brings me great joy to know that I’ve made an impact on others and have helped to contribute to positive changes. I am now looking to take my passion and skill into a Human Resources role where I can continue to provide an exceptional level of service to employees, helping them along their journey through the employee life cycle. To this end, I have recently acquired my aPHR certification and look forward to finding a role where I can continue to have a positive effect at both the company and employee level. Outside of work, I enjoy watching my two amazing kids find their own passions in life and being a part of that journey. My son lost his dad to cancer, so I recognize how precious life is. When I get the chance, I love checking out all that our beautiful state has to offer, in addition to traveling to as many tropical islands as possible.
