ABOUT JODI ECHAKOWITZ
I am a business communicator and storyteller with more than 30 years of experience in public relations. I launched Boulevard Public Relations in 2001 with a specialized focus on the technology sector across multiple industry verticals. Our clients are startups, scaleups, global enterprises, and VC firms in Canada and the U.S. I\'m a tech geek at heart, and have earned a reputation for explaining deep technical concepts in a manner that’s easy for everyone to understand. My passion for technology began at age 11, when I used BASIC programming on an Apple II Plus-compatible computer to create simple games. My love for all things tech extended to my first full-time job in my native South Africa, where setting up LAN networks was among my many responsibilities. Since emigrating to Canada in 1994, I have been immersed in the world of public relations, holding progressively senior roles at some of Canada’s prominent tech successes until starting my own PR agency.
