I have worked in the Health and Social Care sector since 2011, and worked through many different sectors of the care industry and truly met some amazing and inspirational people. In 2018, I was given the best opportunity and I joined Berkley Care as as Senior Carer, since then I have progressed throughout my career to Senior Lead, Deputy Manager, whilst in this role I supported the home throughout their CQC inspection in October 2019 we received a rating of “Outstanding”- and “Outstanding” across all five key lines of enquiry. We score 9.9/10 on Carehome.co.uk, and have won Top 20 Care Home in the South East 2018 and 2019. We won a Pride of Reading Award in 2019 for “Business in Action”, and we were shortlisted for the “Putting People First Award”, “End of Life Team of the Year”, and the “Activities Team of the Year”.
