An accomplished risk professional with extensive experience across operational and technology risk management, I have worked closely with acquisitions on open banking and e-commerce platforms. My expertise includes building comprehensive risk and control profiles, optimizing reporting and oversight models, and enhancing assurance processes to meet legislative and policy requirements. I provide strategic advice on risk management frameworks and have played a key role in uplifting the several risk portfolios—spanning all aspects of operational excellence, product management and remediation. Known for my collaborative approach, I am a trusted advisor to the business, leveraging my deep understanding of risk and control environments to support robust decision-making.In my recent position as Senior Risk Manager, I serve as the primary conduit between BNZ and our third-party partners, ensuring that robust operational resilience measures are in place. My responsibilities include overseeing disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks, with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of preparedness and response across our extended enterprise. I collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders to manage third-party relationships, set clear expectations, and drive continuous improvement in resilience standards for the benefit of our customers. Previously, as a Risk Manager for Operational Excellence, I oversaw Line 1 risk across diverse teams including Procurement & Sourcing, Cash Services, Onboarding, Institutional Banking, Process Optimization, KiwiSaver Support, Asset Finance, Invoice Finance, International Trade, Lending Services, Card & Merchant Fulfilment, and Markets, International and Payments and Sanctions. My background also includes roles as an Operational Risk Analyst and Test Assurance Specialist, where I contributed to risk analysis and product governance for consumer and business lending portfolios.
