   Leading a successful Quality Services Department in the safe and reliable care of pediatric patients. Leads strategic planning work with CQO and Quality Committee of the Board. Serve as the Quality Cabinet co-chair with oversight of four steering committees. Manages and develops a dynamic team including Quality Initiative Specialist, Quality Improvement Science Capacity Program team, Provider Peer Review team, Utilization Management and Physician Advisor team, Decision Support Analyst, Clinical Care Standardization Specialist, Epic Clinical Decision Support and Midas Reporting system. Leads Root Cause Analysis, Apparent Cause Analysis, FMEA, process mapping for system wide improvement as well as conducting local improvements in pt. care processes resulting in positive patient outcomes. Works with teams to develop Aims, project drivers and testing of interventions through PDSA cycles. Educates medical staff, residents, clinical staff and graduate students on IHI Model for Improvement process and tools. Presents quality data to a variety of providers as well as Quality Board leaders, Medical Performance Improvement teams and Hospital Improvement teams. Leads HRO teams in current projects as well as planning for future strategic work. Leading transformation care delivery teams and population health contracted metric efforts.
