About Jodi Pries
I am the president and owner of AgVisory, a valuation and consulting company that focuses on the agriculture industry. I have over 20 years of experience appraising farms, agribusinesses, and food processing facilities nationwide. I was a partner of AgValuation, a company that provides a collateral evaluation web application for agricultural lenders to use on low risk transactions from 20••••22. In June 2022, AgValuation was acquired by AcreTrader. I grew up on a produce and grain farm in Delaware. Today I own and manage farmland that has been in my family for generations. Being appraiser, consultant, and farm operator allows me to provide a unique prospective to our clients. The best part of my job is helping our clients, colleagues, and employees. I am always open to sharing knowledge and information. I have a BS in Agriculture Economics from Auburn University, a MBA from Wilmington University, and a Masters of Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University. I obtained the MAI designation from The Appraisal Institute in 2015. Most recently, I completed the education for the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) designation in Machinery & Equipment valuation.
