About Jodi M.
Jodi’s undergraduate degree is from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. She has a master’s degree in educational leadership and holds a K-12 principal’s license with the Ohio department of education from Wright State University. She spent 21 years in urban education at Dayton Public Schools as a teacher, administrator, mentor, and curriculum coach to teachers and staff. She served as a communication support to the Aerospace Directorate including Arnold AF Base (Tennessee), Edwards AF Base (California) and Wright Patterson (Ohio). She continues to organize training opportunities for local municipalities through Miami Valley Communications Council as a training consultant. In addition, she is an adjunct (remote) instructor for Wright State University in their Organizational Leadership Program.Jodi was the former Executive Director of the Bellbrook Sugarcreek Chamber of Commerce. As executive director she oversaw the daily operations of the chamber and networking opportunities for individuals and businesses throughout the Miami Valley.Jodi is an avid supporter of veterans and spends time traveling the country supporting veteran events. Most recently jumping out of original WWII aircrafts and speaking to keep her grandfather (Jim pee wee Martin- 506 G Company) and his unit’s memories and legacy’s alive and bringing awareness of a statue and Veterans Park being built in Sugarcreek Township, Ohio in honor of her grandfather and all veterans. When not working or supporting her local community and veteran events, she spends time with her two boys. Her oldest son, Hunter, is a student at Ohio University in Athens majoring in Business/Finance. Her younger son, Hayden, attends Bellbrook High School and actively participates in football and lacrosse.
