ABOUT JODI GOLDBERG

I am an experienced technology and telecommunications lawyer, with a particular emphasis on satellite, space, UAV & C-UAV, and novel technologies. My practice is split between regulatory licensing and policy for space/satellite, UAV, and telecom companies before government agencies and B2B commercial contracting and transactions for such companies. As outside regulatory counsel, I assist clients in advancing policy objectives with government agencies, protecting spectrum interests domestically and internationally, and obtaining all requisite regulatory authorizations for new and continuing operations. As commercial contracting counsel, I negotiate and draft complex customer, provider, and service agreements, and help clients develop their own template and form agreements. I regularly act as “outside in-house counsel” for start-up and small operators, providing general regulatory and commercial advice and support, as well as additional depth and resources, for smaller legal departments. I previously worked as in-house regulatory counsel at both geostationary and non-geostationary satellite telecommunications companies. I am licensed to practice law in both the United States and Canada.
