I have been designing and inspecting gearing for heavy industry for many years. From underground mining face conveyor gearboxes to wind turbine planetary gearboxes to locomotive drives. I mostly have been working on heavy duty gearboxes for steel and sugar industries, until recently. Currently I am working as an aerospace systems engineer.Specialties: gear design, gearbox assembly techniques, gearbox inspection and borescope operation.Helical, herringbone, spur, planetary, and spiral bevel gearing design.
