ABOUT JOCHEN M. WILMS
Jochen is a business leader with 25+ years of industry, consulting and investor experience. He started his career in retail and spent 10 years as general manager at media group Bertelsmann as MD during the company\'s transition phase to digital. Thereafter he took the responsibility for Schüco, a circa. €1.5bn turnover provider of aluminium curtain walls. He later worked with Grohe, a circa. €1.5bn bathroom fittings business. Jochen is senior managing director and chairman to numerous international leading companies in the building, retail, IT and media industry in Europe, Asia and the US and is invested in several leading digital start-up and more mature tech companies. Strong focus on strategic industry pursuits, multi-national clients, and large-scale alliances. He has been involved with environmental issues since 2002 on climate change and developed leading marketing and product strategies in the field of energy efficient products and renewable energy technology with the mission of staving off global warming. In addition Jochen supports not-for-profit institutions on a global level.
