ABOUT JOCHEN METZNER

I am a Senior Event Marketing Manager with a strategic mindset, known for creating innovative concepts and translating them into unique customer experiences. My project management approach is characterized by hands-on, where I prioritize content, design, and teamwork.With over two decades of international experience, I’ve held key roles at Nokia Networks, Nokia Siemens Networks, and Siemens AG - leading global events, customer engagement programs, major exhibitions like Mobile World Congress, Hannover Messe or the SPS IPC Drives, and large-scale project portfolios. At Bühler AG in Switzerland, I shaped the global event strategy, standardized the brand presence, launched the pioneering “Bühler Virtual World,” and strengthened digital marketing capabilities worldwide.Since December 2023, I am working as Manager, Events & Congresses EMEA at Arthrex GmbH, contributing to a mission that really inspires me: Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better. Being part of the medical technology industry is both meaningful and motivating, and I enjoy working with a fantastic team of dedicated professionals across EMEA.During my leisure time, I find joy in spending quality moments with my family or pursuing outdoor activities such as mountain hiking. With my children transitioned from their teenage years to adulthood, I am confident to say that no customer event is ever going to be too difficult or demanding -)
