About Jocelyn Chu
Jocelyn Chu is an economic development professional with over 10 years in the complementary fields of women’s economic empowerment (WEE) and public and private sector strategy, sales, and marketing throughout East Africa, the EU, East Asia, and the US. Her women’s economic empowerment work has included field research and analyst roles with Women’s World Banking, and other leading development organizations on corporate engagement, land rights, and digital financial services (DFS) with a focus on women\'s access to productive assets. Her strategy, sales and marketing work has included tri-lingual customer relationship development; management and training experience to develop sales force; and new market entry strategy for a DFS start-up company. She holds a Master of Economic and Political Development from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and a Master of International Public Management from Sciences Po, Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA), with a focus on Gender and Public Policy. She is fluent in English, with professional proficiency in French and verbal fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
