About Jocelyn C.
Driven by a passion for fostering inclusive and healthy communities, I specialize in leveraging my expertise in public health, advocacy, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) to create lasting positive impacts in everyday settings. As a trauma-informed diversity leader, I am committed to shaping safe and empowering environments, ensuring that compassion is normalized and every voice is heard and valued. My journey as a Public Health Administrator & Strategist, a Certified Peer Specialist, and a Certified Victim Advocate have equipped me with a unique perspective on community health and well-being. My personal and professional journeys have afforded me the opportunity to advocate effectively for underrepresented groups. I have dedicated my life to empowering individuals and communities to lead conversations about risk reduction, prevention, treatment, and, most importantly, healing. My growing understanding of trauma, epidemiology, and public health dynamics encourages me to collaborate with others to foster healthier, more inclusive environments where everyone can thrive.
