About Jocelyn Ignacia
Currently the Lead Electrical Engineer in FSI’s primary research laboratory, responsible for supporting multiple projects which range from design and fabrication of instrumentation to perform basic asteroid, lunar and other simulated regolith materials research, to smallsat/cubesat experiments for zero/microgravity environments. My duties include project management, requirements development, system/circuit design, embedded software development, fabrication, and testing. I also provide oversight of student researchers and assistants, including mentoring and training of these individuals. This includes various safety aspects of working with fine particle materials, vacuum chambers, and cryogenic liquids.
