ABOUT JOCELYN FURER
I am a clinical pharmacist located in Rochester, NY where I am currently employed by CPS Solutions and work on site at Rochester Regional Health within the gastroenterology and pulmonology clinics as a dedicated specialty pharmacy expert. Prior to my current role, I received 1 year of residency training with Kaleida Health where I deepened my expertise in community, inpatient and ambulatory care settings, as well as enhanced my understanding of the patient experience and the importance of the pharmacist in value-based care. In addition to my residency, I received 2 years of training as a technician and 3 years as an intern in a high-volume retail setting with Wegmans Pharmacy. I possess a desire to work in a setting where I can continue to use my clinical knowledge to provide education and cost-effective solutions in the management of specialty medications and chronic disease states to avoid costly gaps in patient care. Additionally, based on my experience in oversight of successful quality improvement projects, I thrive in a setting where I’m able to apply my passion for clinical program management and data analysis to find innovative practices that positively impact company processes, and subsequently, elevate the quality of care patients receive from myself, my colleagues, and the company as a whole.
