About Jo Bito
Jo is the Director of Engineering at Jariet Technologies, where he manages the development of cutting-edge data converter ICs. Previously, he was the Head of Perception at Atheraxon, a mmWave Radar startup spun off from Georgia Tech Athena Labs, leading the development of long-range sub-centimeter accuracy mmWave Radar perception systems.He is a former RF design/IC packaging engineer at Texas Instruments (Dallas, TX), where he developed advanced IC packaging technologies for mmWave radar/magnetic and optics sensor applications, and high-volume manufacturing-ready additive manufacturing equipment.Before joining TI, he researched RF energy harvesting and wireless power transfer technology development blended with additive manufacturing technologies.He earned his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. While a student at Georgia Tech, he was a recipient of the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) long-term study abroad scholarship.
