ABOUT JOBBY THOMAS
Recent masters(MEng.) graduate in civil engineering from the University of Waterloo focussed on structural engineering. Completed B.Tech(Hons.) in Civil engineering from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum. I wish to expand my knowledge through valuable industrial exposure and hence seek graduate/junior roles at organizations nurturing urban sustainability through advancements in the structural and infrastructure domain.Worked as Technical Assistant(Civil Engg.) at the Kerala Rail Development Corporation Ltd, where I was primarily involved on-site supervision of boundary stone laying using DGPS survey, submission of reports regarding progress of various technical activities, various transportation related studies, Check of General Arrangement Drawings (GADs), drawing layouts using AutoCAD, communication with the consultant and contractors etc.I believe my skill set, obtained and developed through my previous workplace and the various programs, internships and projects I have volunteered for and been part of, have helped nurture within myself, a dedicated professional with effective communication and leadership skills. I hope to keep growing, both in knowledge and competence through exciting opportunities with great teams.
