John Banas is senior vice president/managing director of Debt & Equity in Northmarq’s Philadelphia office, where his responsibilities include co-leading the office’s growth, direct Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Financing, facilitating debt and equity placements, and managing lender and borrower relationships throughout the Mid-Atlantic.John joined Northmarq in 2024, after serving as senior vice president and managing director for six years co-leading Walker & Dunlop’s Philadelphia Office. He began his commercial real estate career in 2005 with a regional firm and has since closed more than $6 billion in commercial real estate financing transactions. John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in both real estate and human resources management from Temple University.
