I look for stories that fall into the intersection of social services, criminal justice and mental health.I\'m currently interested in the policing of human trafficking and sex work in New York City. Earlier this year, I was a co-producer and correspondent for \"Right to Fail,\" a film for the PBS documentary series Frontline. The film was based on a story I wrote with director Tom Jennings on the long arc of deinstitutionalization of New Yorkers with mental illness, which was published on the front page of the New York Times.
