Provide expertise on conducting comprehensive national green transition assessments, followed by the development of tailored green transition roadmaps for each country of the Green Agenda GUMA project. The project supports Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova and Armenia in their journey towards climate neutrality through green transition. Together with participating countries, it aims to create green transition roadmaps in each country paving a way to planning and mobilizing investments for building modern, sustainable economies and improving citizen’s health, well-being and security. The project’s thematic focus revolves around a holistic approach to achieve climate neutrality, closely aligned with the principles of the European Green Deal. It aims to tackle key focus areas and crosscutting aspects, such as finance, digitalization, and social impacts. These include climate action, clean energy, circular economy, efficient renovations, sustainable food, sustainable mobility, preserving biodiversity and zero pollution.

ABOUT JOÃO PEDRO SILVA
João Pedro Silva is an independent consultant and part-time Principal Consultant at Logika Group’s Environmental Policy & Economics team, a leading environmental consultancy with offices in in Brussels. João Pedro has more than 20 years of experience in planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating actions on EU nature conservation and biodiversity policy across different sectors, such as agriculture, infrastructure, and tourism. He has also been involved in several EU-funded projects, such as LIFE and Interreg, and has supported the European Commission on diverse topics related to Natura network, climate change adaptation, sustainable tourism, and nature restoration. João Pedro is an ecologist with a strong background in environmental impact assessment (EIA) and strategic environmental assessment (SEA) of EU programmes and plans.
