A motivated hard worker with a “can do” attitude, always ready to accept challenges, who likes to show his worth through the best results, even under stress. A team leader (or just a mate in the joint effort) used to achieve goals, as it matters. A self-taught, “do it yourself” fast learner, comfortable doing any general maintenance and upkeep of plant and facilities such as electrics & locksmith, plumbing & guttering, basic carpentry & joinery, painting & decorating and so on. A detailed CV showing constant evolution on skills and knowledge development in the various functions assumed. A long practice, training and experience background. A wide knowledge and understanding on Telecoms, Electrical, Support and Security Systems - and not so - allowing to easily take on new roles. As example, just arrived from Portugal with no past experience on the role, not even of the UK reality and duly certified after a short week of training, undertook the task of Dslam Jointer team leader, cabling and terminating copper tie cables from Dslam to PCP, for the BT/Openreach Broadband, all over the country, for the first 15 months of activity in UK. No registered defect on sign-off commissioning in any job completed. Technical knowledge includes- Cabinets, Racks, Exchange or Data Centers and Offices or Services buildings networks- Symmetrical Pairs or Cat5/6 Cabling and Terminating- AC and DC Low Voltage Distribution, Equipment and Support Systems- Phone and Broadband land lines - xDSL, ISDN or POTS/PSTN; Residential or business telecoms and electrical installations and maintenance- Security, Monitoring, Warning and Alarm Systems; Fire Detection and Extinction, Intrusion and Access Control. Speaking English, French, Portuguese (native) and understanding Spanish. With almost immediate availability, relocation accepted, even abroad. If desirable, maybe a two men gang will be possible, including the usual team mate.
