ABOUT JOANNE CONWAY

With a background in Finance and Psychology I build trusting relationships and focus on outcome driven results to build sustainable culture change. I am a resilient, positive individual with the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrix organisation. Proven record of accomplishment of building an Equality, Diversity & Inclusiveness Global strategy from the ground up which required an openness and ability to deal with ambiguity and tight deadlines to create a sustainable model. Graduated in 2019 with distinction with a Masters in HR Management and Development, including employment law, project management and strategic business with a dissertation in Psychological Safety in minority groups. Doctoral student with Cranfield University on the topic of privilege. I provide strategic consulting and inclusiveness expertise to support our “highest performing teams” strategy. I consult with and coach business leaders in developing and integrating inclusiveness goals and strategies into all business practices and processes. Advise UK LLP Board Executive leadership on D&I matters internally and externally Experienced facilitator in all areas of inclusive leadership, including developing and delivering material in India, Argentina, US, Germany, Poland and the UK as well as delivering virtual sessions across multi geographic locations. Measuring moments that matter to track sustainable culture change. I am proud to be listed on the Northern Power Womens Future top 50 list, and work hard to champion diverse talent, ensuring all voices are heard. I am passionate in my role as a mentor internally at EY and externally with the University of Salford and The Girls Network. Experienced in writing thought leadership and speaking externally. Guest Lecturer at Salford University School governor with over 5 years experience in role. Volunteer as a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion advisor to GNE football club.
