Develop and oversee academic program and curriculum for multiple summer workshops in various arts genres. • Oversee full scope of student enrollment, from partnering with the host campus to create enrollment processes and supervising administrative operations to working with students.• Oversee Summer Arts scholarship programs, including internal scholarships, special sponsorships, and dean scholarships.• Build and maintain relationships with system-wide arts deans that help secure their support for the Summer Arts program.• Collaborate with arts deans to identify and recruit potential faculty and students.• Act as the managerial authority for all student-related issues, including disciplinary situations.• Directly supervise a staff of up to 15 people each year, and provide management oversight to the entire Summer Arts staff of up to 50 people each year.

I have more than three decades working in arts administration and education. Before joining the California State University, I worked with a commercial production company and with a commercial photographer. I love project-based work. Building, promoting, and producing arts or educational programs is a passion for me, and I thrive on the constantly changing circumstances that are inherent to this kind of work. I am happiest when I can solve interesting problems (or even mundane ones) on a daily basis. My career objective is to continue to help change people\'s lives through the arts and art education.
