Develop and enhance systems and academic programs that increase the performance of Boston’s High Schools to deliver on the fundamental goal of preparing every young person for post-secondary, career and lifelong success.• Participate in district-level decision making to establish and review policies, goals, objectives, and the development of varied and evolving initiatives supporting high schools. • Facilitate a team comprised of members from the offices of Innovation, Academics, High School Support, Data & Accountability, Chief of Schools, and Expanded Learning to develop a five-year strategic plan to redesign secondary schools.• Create opportunities for sharing redesign practices among the collaborative networks that includes school-based professional learning sessions about, design work related to, and site-based implementation of Boston’s high school redesign principles.• Convene teachers, school administrators and guidance staff to analyze data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and other ways to strengthen student academic performance. • Implement school-based professional learning about, design work related to, and site-based implementation of Boston’s High School Redesign Principals.
