ABOUT JOANNE HALL
I am passionate about making a difference to people’s lives. I pivoted my career, after leaving the police service, to focus on roles that provide experiences and opportunities to individuals and communities. Driven by my lived experience, I am an enthusiastic advocate for social justice and social mobility, which I have worked to achieve through a variety of roles most recently in social sustainability for BAM Nuttall, Rail Division.I am a big picture thinker and my superpower is that I am people focused and outcome focused in equal measures, which enables me to balance these as priorities when I manage projects. I am a positive leader, strategic thinker and competent project manager and welcome the chance to work with businesses in developing and creating projects in education and community settings and empower others to join me.I am proud to have recently gained a First Class honours degree in Contemporary Criminology, as the first in my family to do so. This has given me first hand insight into the barriers of higher education and progression for under represented groups and communities.
